Until very recently, I was sure that I couldn't draw! I thought drawing skill was something you were born with - or not, right? But art instructor Jennifer Sorensen showed me just how wrong I was. Drawing a face, tree, or a still life is something we can be taught. Jennifer uses fun, accessible exercises to help our eyes and brain see the lines and contrasts that are actually there - not what we perceive them to be. Whether you want to capture the faces of your loved ones, the beauty of an aspen tree, or sketch a still life, this class can get you started! Learning these skills will also help you elevate art work in any medium. Jennifer will have us working with pencil and paper. Jennifer Sorensen has been an art educator for most of her adult life. Retired from teaching most recently at Snowcrest Middle School, Jennifer continues to teach at the Ogden Eccles Art Center, privately, and of course for Mountain Arts. - Pam Saturday March 15. 11am -1 pm. $30/adult; $15 age 10-18
