SUE POULSEN, Liberty.
Life for me is anything but dull.
Our working cattle ranch, the Rockin P, consists of loads of hard work: spring calving, winter feeding, lots of horse play, long hours and yes…rain or bad weather when it’s time to put up hay. I have lived in the gorgeous Ogden Valley of Utah for 35 years and as I look at the mountains and wildlife each day I know this is just another perfect offering from God.
Aleta Cobabe Paulsen has been my watercolor tutor for the past few years I am filled with excitement with each painting I complete. I also craft barn wood frames which I use on most of my paintings and photographs.
Retirement is giving me the opportunity for adventure to travel and engage with people throughout America and the world to see how their cultures intertwine with ours. I travelled to Nepal last year with a fellow adventurer and trekked the Langtang Valley of the Himalayas for my 71 birthday. The challenge is now getting time to paint some of those awesome photographs I took.
